About Doctor Scevola

Born in Turin, Italy on 2 December 1954, he completed his secondary school education in 1973. In 1980, he graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Turin (110/110 cum laude).


He went on to complete a specialisation in oncology (100/100 cum laude) in 1985, then a specialisation in gastrointestinal endoscopy and digestive diseases in 1990 (University of Milan).


In 1997, he earned his doctorate from the University of Turin in collaboration with Harvard Medical School.


He has been a professor of gastrointestinal endoscopy (University of Turin) since 1993.


From 1992 to 2011, he was the professor in charge of the endoscopy unit of the department of surgical oncology at the University of Turin.


Dr Scevola benefits from extensive experience as a professor of endoscopy at the University of Turin, where he has gained expertise in gastroenterology and oncology and performed more than 5,000 endoscopic procedures over the past 15 years.
